Scottish sailing waters are renowned the world over for providing wonderful anchorage-hopping cruises. The options below provide and few ideas around which to build a cruise or passage plan.

For the more active try a few days Munro bagging by boat. The itinerary suggests some of Scotland’s Munros accessible from the shore. (Mountains over 3,000 ft). If a more leisurely cruise appeals, what could be better than sailing from distillery to distillery. Our heritage is all around so perhaps The Pictish Trail in Argyll and the Islands is to your liking or the Viking Trail in connecting our northern isles and Nordic neighbours..

Scotland has a growing number of moorings and visitor pontoons and marinas to help you plan your passage – and of course an endless supply of quiet undisturbed anchorages.

We are always on the look out for new ideas. If you have a cruise theme you would like to share please get in touch via the contact page
