Racing is open to keelboarts, dinghies and catamarans of all classes.

Racing takes place over the course of two weekends:

• Saturday – Keelboats race in the area to the north of Cumbrae while dinghy racing takes place around the cans within the Largs Channel. For non-racers, we also hold a Cruise in Company (open to all yachts and motorboats) led by the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.
• Sunday – The famous Round Cumbraes Race is a long-distance race around Big Cumbrae for the dinghies and catamarans, and both islands for keelboats.
• Midweek – A midweek series for keelboats and dinghies
• Following Saturday – the famous Scottish Two Handed Race.
