A friendly welcome awaits you at Castlebay Marina in Isle of Barra, Outer Hebrides. It is a safe haven for boats in the heart of Castlebay and an excellent base for an islands adventure.
Barra enjoys good transport links via ferry from Oban and Eriskay, or land on the beach at Barra Airport, only 1 hour from Glasgow.
The marina has water, electric, WiFi, recycling and refuse. There is also a facilities block with toilets, showers and laundry. Electric bikes are available for hire.
The marina is very close to on shore amenities in Castlebay such as shops, visitor information, bank, post office, bars, restaurants, etc… It is also a great place to rest and refuel before continuing your adventure further up the Hebrides, to the bishop isles (Barrahead, Mingulay, Pabbay and Sandray), to Tiree and Mull or out to St Kilda.

Castlebay Marina is a community owned facility and managed by Bùth Bharraigh the community and visitor hub in Castlebay. They have additional facilities such as visitor information, laundry service, refillery and hot desk.
