Welcome to Fidelio, our Ovni 43 aluminium yacht, that we offer for bareboat charter from Oban. These strongly constructed, world-girdling yachts are renowned for their sea-keeping and sailing qualities.
Go which way the wind blows to fully explore the islands of the west of Scotland: the lifting keel and rudder allow access to many anchorages that other boats cannot reach; the dinghy, with an electric outboard, launches fully-inflated from the transom in seconds.
There are eight berths, but she is most comfortable with up to six people on board. Equipment includes solar panels, wind generator, bowthruster, Force 10 cooker, AIS transceiver, radar, and asymmetric spinnaker.
Neil and Jenny, who live near Oban, have owned Fidelio as a family boat since 2012. 2024 is our 7th season of chartering. During this time, we have continually upgraded the boat: in the past two years alone, this includes new engine, genoa, sail covers and rudder bearings.

We are now taking bookings for 2025, from charterers who have sailed with us before, but do have some weeks available in late summer and autumn 2024. Prices closely reflect seasonal demand, with off-season weeks offering excellent value.
