Jamie Hogan has been involved with the Family business (Caley Marina) from a very young age, originally training as a marine engineer, moving through to workshop manager and now at director level. During this time the company has turned into a multi-faceted operation with boat & engine sales to every continent and a strong focus on commercial works including Aquaculture, Flood rescue, Civil engineering and Offshore renewables.

In 2007 Jamie designed and built Inverness Marina working as a joint venture company with Inverness Harbour Trust, this company has gone from strength to strength and is well regarded in Scotland’s marine industry. Inverness Marina is very focused on the Leisure side of the business and has developed strong relationships with other marinas on the East coast, Orkney and Shetland.

Inverness position on the Moray Firth is an ideal location for visiting our local population of Bottlenose dolphins, in 2015 Jamie set up Dolphin Spirit a company taking visitors to see these beautiful creatures. This company is a world first in the way that it operates with minimal environmental impact and putting the welfare of these animals as our first priority.
