Sail Scotland's 2017 Photo Competition
Date published: 07 June 2017
Top sailing photographer Marc Turner wants to see what makes Scotland’s Legendary Sailing… have you got what it takes?
The Sail Scotland Photography Competition is now into its third year, and to celebrate Scotland’s year of History and Heritage 2017 we want to see something really special…
Our 2016 Photographer of the Year, Julia Amies-Green, did exactly that with her winning entry of Eilean Donan Castle.
Marc said: “We had some incredible entries this year from Sail Scotland readers. Congratulations to Julia… her shot of Eilean Donan is so dramatic. The composition is great and the moody sky is stunning. In 2017, I want to see people’s take on what makes Scotland’s legendary sailing… from wildlife and landscapes to castles and standing stones… show me something special”
Submit your entries for our 2017 photo competition on our gallery:
by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
We will choose the best shots between January and September, and let the public decide the winner by voting for their favourite. The winning entry will receive £100 to spend!
