Moonshadow of Lorne is a stylish 20 metre sailing yacht providing a comfortable, secure environment for cruising the magnificent West Coast of Scotland and the Inner and Outer Hebridean islands. A warm friendly welcome awaits you and traditional Scottish hospitality is guaranteed to make you feel at home during your time aboard.

Moonshadow is fully equipped to the highest standards, with an attention to detail and quality that ensures you will enjoy a memorable holiday. Her light and airy interior has a spacious saloon, warm air heating and en-suite guest cabins with hot showers. All meals onboard are freshly prepared in the galley from the finest of seasonal ingredients.

Our 4-10 day cruises are suitable for individuals, couples, families and groups and are purposely flexible to reflect guests' interests and, of course, the weather and tides.  You are invited to play an active part in the running of the yacht, getting involved in anything from passage planning and weather forecasting to helming and drying the dishes. Then, when you're ready to relax, we have a well-stocked library and lots of good vantage points on deck from which to enjoy the magnificent scenery and the abundant and diverse Scottish wildlife!

As well as experiencing the thrill of sailing a big boat, daily trips ashore allow guests to stretch their legs and explore some of the beautiful Scottish coastline.  From the dramatic peaks of the Cuillins on Skye to the seductive sandy white beaches of Iona and Tiree you are spoilt for choice.  Scotland’s remarkable history and distinctive culture are also evident in the many castles and ruins that pepper the landscape, nowhere more so than on the St Kilda archipelago, one of the most breathtaking destinations possible on our longer trips.

For a sailing holiday experience that leaves you feeling relaxed, refreshed and invigorated, join us aboard Moonshadow.
