Inverness Marina lies seven miles south west of Chanonry Point in the Inverness Firth and just one mile from the city centre of Inverness. The marina sits close to the eastern entrance of the Caledonian Canal, making it an ideal location for yachts to be based with easy access to both the Scottish north east coast and via the canal to the popular Scottish west coast.

Scotland's east coast is home to a population of around 200 bottlenose dolphins, their range centred around the inner Moray Firth, where a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) has been designated for their protection. The waters around Inverness contain important habitat for these dolphins and provide one of the best watching opportunities in the world.

In addition to delivering 150 berths in the heart of the Moray Firth, Inverness Marina boasts new shoreside facilities. As well as housing the marina office, the new marina building provides a laundry and spacious shower and toilet facilities for berth holders and visiting boat crews. There is also a classroom/crewroom area available. The marina has a 75T marine travel hoist and crane for masting.

Inverness Marina is proud to be part of The Yacht Harbour Association's Gold Anchor Award Scheme and is rated at Four Gold Anchors. This means that Inverness Marina reach the international standards set for marinas, offer excellent facilities, a very high level of service and has achieved the ICOMIA Clean Marina standard.

Inverness Airport is only 15 minutes away by bus or taxi and the railway station is only 1 mile from the marina. Inverness is a modern city where there are many fine restaurants and shops to be found.

A warm welcome is assured at Inverness Marina.
