St Hilda Sea Adventures provides a small ship cruising and wildlife holiday on the beautiful west coast of Scotland in the Inner and Outer Hebrides or in Argyll; an unforgettable adventure for all ages. Each cruise is a unique holiday experience on board the St Hilda, a traditional, wooden 54ft ketch going to sea with only six guests, but with your own onboard skipper and cook. St Hilda anchors in the most sheltered, idyllic places where passengers can visit distilleries, world famous islands such as St Kilda, Mull, Isle of Skye, Jura, Islay, Staffa and Iona, watch the wildlife, go fishing or swim in the sea lochs. Dolphins, porpoises, basking sharks, otters, and many species of birds are regularly seen and even the occasional Minke whale. Each day is as action packed or as relaxing as you please.
A cruising holiday on board the St Hilda is fun and informal. The roomy deck saloon is where everyone dines and socialises and the outdoor decks are perfect for spotting wildlife and relaxing and eating al fresco when the boat is at anchor. Cabins are warm and comfortable with six berths for our guests: a double en-suite, a twin en-suite and two single berths with adjacent toilet and shower rooms. Youngsters and adults love having a shot at hauling up the sails, setting the jib, main and mizzen and raising the anchor. There is plenty of room on deck to carry canoes, windsurfers or cycles if you wish to bring your own. The boat tender can also take you ashore or to explore shallow waters and responsibly approach the wildlife.
We are offering a wonderful selection of Scottish cruise itineraries including one going to the archipelago of St Kilda. Visit our website (http://www.sthildaseaadventures.co.uk) to see more details of our itineraries and you will also be able to check out our calendar for availability.
